Tilden Park After Work Ride August 30, 2017

Completed 24k Service on GSA August 18, 2017

I needed to have my 24k service completed and instead of paying over $1k to the dealer I decided to do it myself over a couple of weekends. What the 24k service calls for is the following: oil and oil filter change; gear box oil change; final drive oil change; valve check; replace spark plugs; replace air filter; replace generator belt; and an engine synchronization.

I purchased a 24k service kit and went to it. Everything was pretty straight forward and went well.

I took the bike for a quick test ride after and everything seems in order.

Good way to save some money and bond with the bike.

BMW 535i Tilden Park Drive August 9, 2017

I have been needing a new car for some time since the Jeep is fourteen years old and Matthew is now driving. I was thinking about a Ford F150, but test drove a BMW 535i and that was that. What a ride with similar drive modes like the GSA - sport, comfort, etc. This thing is unbelievably fast, twin turbo, and super comfortable.  Can drive in automatic or change to manual transmission.

First time I really hit the gas with Matthew in the car it pushed him into his seat like he was in a fighter jet.

Not sure I want to keep this car once out of warranty with all this technology. However, until that time I will enjoy the car and see how it goes.

So far best car I have ever owned.

Ride to the Berkeley Marina August 2, 2017

I heard there was a windsurfing contest down at the Berkeley Marina in the evening so I went down to check it out. However, to my surprise it did not look like anything was going on. No big deal still a nice time out.
